1. Product Introduction

KELUM® Aluminium Hydroxide [Al(OH)₃] is manufactured via the advanced Bayer seed precipitation process using high-purity bauxite as raw material. This halogen-free, non-toxic inorganic flame retardant filler decomposes endothermically at 250–350 °C, releasing water vapor (34.5 % LOI) while suppressing smoke and toxic gases. KELUM® delivers ≥ 99.6 % purity, ≥ 99.5 % whiteness, and tightly controlled particle size distribution (d50: 1.2–1.8 μm) — making it the ideal choice for demanding polymer, coating, and construction applications. With 12 years of Bayer process production experience and an annual capacity of 20,000 MT, Hanzhong Delike New Materials Co., Ltd. is a trusted global supplier operating under an ISO 9001 certified quality management system.

3. Particle Size Distribution

KELUM® Al(OH)₃ features a narrow, mono-modal particle size distribution achieved through proprietary seed crystal control technology in the Bayer precipitation circuit.

AH-A: Ultrafine d50 1.2–1.35 μm — designed for high-gloss coatings and thin-wall (≤ 0.5 mm) plastic products.    AH-B: d50 1.35–1.50 μm — general-purpose fine powder for PVC, rubber, and fireproof boards.    AH-C: d50 1.50–1.75 μm with ultra-low ionic impurities — engineered for high-voltage cable insulation and electronic-grade applications.    AH-SM: Surface-modified powder with d50 1.2–1.8 μm and reduced oil absorption (16–22 ml/100g) via silane, titanate, or stearic acid coupling agents — optimized for high-fill polymer composites, SMC/BMC thermosets, and engineering plastics.

Measurement Method: Laser diffraction (Malvern Mastersizer / equivalent). Full PSD report (d10, d50, d90, span) available with every shipment COA.
